The architecture is so complex now and the buildings are so different that it is very difficult for the architects to be engaged in everything simultaneously, so the interior designers and decorators are designing the interior more often.
Knowledge of any styles of interior is useful to them who are engaged in interior design – for designers, decorators and house owners. When you are aware in styles, it becomes easy to choose the appropriate furniture and accessories. It is always a win option to choose one particular style of the interior decorating. Choosing of the characterizing furniture, accessories and decorating elements create this or that particular style. In other words, each of the interior is characterized by a particular style of furniture, decor and accessories.
History of the Interior Styling
Today we know quite a lot of different styles. Initially, all the styles gradually evolved, from the one epoch to another, according to the development of humanity, science, technology and architecture, from the ancient times to the present. However, for now, a variety of styles are appearing that are no longer the reflection of the given epoch, but they also have the characteristic features.
So, let us learn a variety of basic interior style in their chronological (historical) order.
All styles, making them more convenient for study and systematization, can be conditionally divided into two groups: historical and contemporary interior style. The main difference between the two groups is in the interior decorating principles. At first, we will talk about several historical styles of interior, which are still widely used by the style admirers.

All historical interior styles have been designed with decorative elements.
Egyptian style was formed in the period of ancient Egypt. Interiors of this period were characterized by the bright colors, a lot of black, variety of Egyptian ornaments.

Greek style existed in the ancient Greek times. The Greeks invented the so-called order system (system of arches and columns), which is still used in classical decor and interior design.

Roman style in architecture was created in the times of the Roman Empire. The Romans invented the arch and concrete and actively used it. In addition, they perfected the Greek order system, to which they added their two orders: Tuscan and Composite.

Gothic style is a public style. In the interior of this style it was widely used the arches like arrows, furniture of solid wood or metal, harsh colors.

Renaissance is the Revival epoch, returning to the classical order of ancient Greece and Rome, reinventing of architectural forms, freedom of creativity.

For good decoration of the interior, it is necessary to know the classical elements of décor (columns, cornices, arches, etc.), which are used in the decoration of interior. Classical style of the interior is characterized by the abundance of decorative elements, returning to the use of the classical order.

Baroque (from the end of XVI century to the middle of XVIII century) - luxury style, a lot of painting, without any expensive fabrics and elaborate decorations.

Rococo (first part of XVIII century), the style for palaces mainly, it stands out because of excessive luxury and fanfare.
